Best suited to a roast. Very tasty but not for the faint hearted.
Modern take on Syrah. Somewhere between a light and heavy red.
Nice, smooth Shiraz. Not too heavy.
Heady. Obviously does gym. But doesn't wear tight clothing and enjoys forests. K
Rich, flavoursome. Easy.
Quite heavy. Good by the glass.
A delicate wine with a beautiful mouth feel. Impressed everyone at our table, definitely worth a try!
Nuanced whole-bunch aromatics. Elegant mouth feel and long, fresh red berry flavors. A delicious drop!
Lovely floral, lavender nose. Almost musky flavour with strong berry notes. All-round very delicate.
Like a brick in the wall, this wine blends into the background.
Very flavourful. Nice hints of berry. Great aroma.
Cherry nose, full body and smooth. I'd have this again.
Takes me to a warm summer evening, everytime. It's subdued, it's fruit-flavoured notes, it's deep colouring and it's loftful aroma all draw you in - I'm drinking one more.
Very easy to drink. The best I have had so far. A little taste of cherry
The hyenas are coming and I don't care. This is a red that is bold and strong, it stands up to the test. I highly recommend.
Yum. Its great with food. Full of flavour. Will definitely get this again.
Mellow and tasteful, would recommend strongly
Nice full bodied with great flavours
Lighter Shiraz. Rich fruit- cherries etc. smokey aftertaste
Too citric!! Not for me!! I prefer sweet flavour !!
A jolly red! Can taste some fruit and prosciutto. Delightful!
One the best Shiraz wines I've had in recent times. Easy drinking with lots of character.
Peppery yet mild
It has exactly what you look for in a red- good weight, lots of fruit, hint of savoury and great persistence. I rate it highly.
I thought I'd been through my Yarra Syrah phase but as it turns out I'm still pretty soft for it. A profile that's fairly macabre to read but very pretty to smell; smoky black cherry, stewed/spiced plum, charcoal and winter leaf. Plus a little flicker of prosciutto somewhere. Nice tart palate too - bit of grown-up bitterness and rhubarb and all the good stuff you want in a top YV Syrah. Yes, pretty much anytime. Priced that way.
Slowly becoming one of my all-time favourite reds.
This Syrah is absolutely spot on.
Easily the best Syrah in this price range
Just love it!
