I would be proud to take this to any party. Althoug hat this price point you can find some serioulsy good chardonnay with a little bottle age, the Yerringberg, even as a young wine, offers a more subtle expression than many of the 'mouthful of sunshine' styles we look to for longer term cellaring. Drink now and drink plenty.
Delicious. I'm a big Chardonnay drinker, and I love the way this one is fresh and fruity but not too acidic. I don't often go for Yarra Valley but this was really crisp and elegant. First one down - glad I bought a 6-pack on Spokenwine recommendation!
A lovely, restrained Chardonnay that's decidedly classy despite the vintage. White peach and a whiff of honeycombe. Neither limey nor appley nor many other Chardonnay descriptors - this ones right on the edge, constantly interesting. Fairly short but unctuous and tart in a European style. Less cellarable than some other vintages, but, hey that means they're terrific today.
fruity and well rounded. usually fruity is too tart for me but this was smooth and very drinkable.
Is nice and fresh!! The perfect balance between sweet and citric!! Leaves a good flavour on my mouth !!!
Really nice. Not too oaky and a little fruity.
Not usually a white drinker but nice
Very light and easy to drink for a Chardonnay. Doesn't have the usual strong taste.
Refined, classic Yarra Chardonnay.
